What are the pros and cons of being a Chef?

Well I’m trying to figure out if I want to go into cooking school or not since I’m going to graduate high school this year, and I love cooking but I just really wanted to know if there are any chefs or any one who knows a chef’s life to tell me about it. Sorta like the pros and cons and if its worth it or not? Thanks for taking the time to read this and if you can answer this question for me I would be more than appreciative!

Pro’s – you love cooking, money can be good, lots of jobs available

Con – hours are terrible
